Hi. I am wondering if there is a way to improove our upload time without upgrading the internet connection?
When i was at university the upload was as fast as the download and it was really nice for sending music and other large files.
Here at home i have 512 adsl but if i remember right the upload time is only 128 or something. Why uploads are musch slower than downloads? Is there a program which could improove upload times simmilar to download express but the oposite?
Probably there isn't a magick solution to this and the answer is a faster connection but i am sending this out of curiocity.

Yeah your correct.
The only thing that I can suggest is that you make sure your internet pc is clean - no viruses or spyware that are uploading stuff, but i'm guessing that you would do that anyway.
File sharing programs drasticly effect your upload speeds.
There are some things that you can do in the uk to your phoneline, but I had a quick look and came to the conclusion that it would need the help of a sited person so haven't tryed them.

Bribery is a system practiced all over the world in which one person or corporation pays exorbant amounts to people with power (politicians, churches, police) in order to get something of value to the payer. The Bush administration has developped this system in ways we never would have imagined.
Actually, I proposed this in an attempt to be humorous, (apparently it didn't work). I was proposing that you Nikos could pay j-square or his corporate minions large sums of money from your vast wealth and you would then get preferential treatment when it comes to upload time.
Never mind... it was a flippant response to a serious question.

lol Bob. Zone uploads wouldn't take long because a 2 minute audio profile in mp3 wouldn't be more than 3 mb. But if i ever start a podcast and i do shows 30 minutes or an hour long that would take me hours to upload.
Unfortunately jokes is one of my weak areas in English. I have difficulty understanding them. I wish i could understand the jokes on the boards but some of them i can't understand them.
